Repeal of General Orders Re: COVID-19 Public Emergency and Special Sessions to Hold Court Out of District

The General Order Regarding COVID-19 Public Emergency and Continued Bankruptcy Operations, entered July 17, 2020, has been repealed. Hearings will continue to be conducted in person, by telephone, or by video conference at the discrection of the presiding judge. Drop boxes remain available for pro se filers. The General Order Regarding Electronic Signatures, entered March 24, 2020, remains in full force and effect.

The General Order Regarding Special Sessions to Hold Court Out of District Due to Uninhabitability of Rock Island Courthouse, entered September 27, 2018, has been repealed. All cases in the Peoria Division, including those that normally would be heard in Rock Island, Illinois, will continue to be heard in person, by telephone, or by video conference at the U.S. Courthouse in Peoria, Illinois, pending construction of the new U.S. Courthouse in Rock Island.
