Fees effective December 1, 2023

The Clerk’s Office accepts the following forms of payment:
Self-Represented Filers –
Springfield, Peoria, Urbana -
- money order; or
- cashier’s check issued by an acceptable financial institution.
Springfield only -
- Cash in the exact amount is accepted in person at the Springfield Office.
Attorneys -
- plastic card payments made via Pay.gov by attorneys using the CM/ECF electronic filing system;
- money order, cashier’s check, or company/firm check made payable to: Clerk, U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
The Clerk’s Office does not accept cash received in the mail or personal checks.
