The Urbana office of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of Illinois will be close to the public on Monday, November 10, 2025, due to inclement weather. Staff for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court will be available via telephone to provide customer service during normal office hours, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

The Court’s electronic filing system will remain available for the filing of cases and documents.

For self-represented parties, the Electronic Document Submission System (EDSS) is a service that may be used to file documents with the Court as an alternative to mailing or bringing the documents to the courthouse. If a document submitted using EDSS is accepted for filing by the Court, the document will be considered filed on the date and time that it was received by the Court via EDSS.  Please click here for additional information.
