Closing and Cancellation of Hearings - December 5, 2018, Urbana, Illinois

In accordance with closures by the District Court, the Urbana office of the United States Bankruptcy Court will be closed Wednesday, December 5, 2018, in observance of the National Day of Mourning for President George H.W. Bush.

All hearings scheduled before Judge Gorman on December 5, 2018, in Urbana, Illinois, are cancelled and will be reset on a later date. Most matters will be reset for January 9, 2019, in Urbana, Illinois, although some matters will be set for telephonic conference on December 20, 2018. Specific notices will be docketed in each case.

Given the short notice of this announcement, the Court requests parties receiving electronic notice hereof to pass the information on to interested pro se parties. Any party adversely affected by the scheduling change may seek appropriate relief from the Court by motion. Any motion asking for a continuance of the rescheduled hearing date must conform to all statutory and procedural requirements. For more information, please refer to Chief Judge Mary P.
