The Bankruptcy Clerk’s Office located in Urbana will close at 12:30 today. The Clerk’s Office is accessible to the public through telephone, mail, and the drop box located in the lobby of the courthouse. Staff will be available via telephone to provide customer service during normal office hours, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The Court’s electronic filing system will remain available for the filing of cases and documents. If you need to obtain copies of documents from a case file, the PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records) system is available days, nights, and weekends. Visit the PACER website (https://www.pacer.uscourts.gov) for information on how to register for PACER and the fees for downloading court documents.
For self-represented parties, the Electronic Document Submission System (EDSS) is a service that may be used to file documents with the Court as an alternative to mailing or bringing the documents to the courthouse. If a document submitted using EDSS is accepted for filing by the Court, the document will be considered filed on the date and time that it was received by the Court via EDSS.
