The Springfield office of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of Illinois will be closed to the public on Friday, July 5, 2024, due to building repairs. Staff will be available via telephone to provide customer service during normal office hours, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. The Court's electronic filing system will remain available for the filing of cases and documents.  Pro se individuals may file documents using EDSS, eSR Bankruptcy Petition Preparation System, or by depositing in the drop box of the courthouse lobby.  If submitting an emergency filing using the drop box, please contact the Clerk’s Office.  Documents deposited in the drop box will be processed on Monday, July 8, 2024.
